About The WOLVES
Western Port Football Club is a community sports club focusing on getting children engaged in the world's most popular game.
Our home ground is the Graham Myers Reserve in Bittern (also known as the Den) and the club has been in action since 1989. Originally founded for adult soccer enthusiasts in the Western Port area, but gradually the club expanded to include junior teams.
The junior teams are now the focus of the club. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented club, catering to players of all skill levels, and emphasising enjoyment of the game above all.
After some difficult times and mismanagment which nearly led to the club folding several years ago, the members elected a new committee.
They immediately set about the task of rebuilding the club to a position of strength and prosperity, so our children, and in the future, their children could continue to play the game we love so much.
We would love to continue, long into the future, to give kids an avenue to stay fit, have fun and make new friends outside their normal social circles.
